It's quite sad that I may grow up someday
Sad that I could be doing only the things I'm 'supposed to'
Sad that I might be lost in adulthood;
Worrying about money, complaining about work, talking about the good old days...
Well, till that happens, I'll keep my positive outlook on life
I'll keep cherishing the simple treasures in life
I'll keep striving to make the best of the little I have
And I'll keep finding fun avenues to let out my creativity.
But who knows? Maybe I'll love adulthood as much as I do youth
Maybe I'll love the challenge of mounting responsibilities
Appreciate the love of a family or take pride in the welfare of my home
Hmm...who knows?
